OEM Series® Rear Wheel Bearing Kit – Beta, Husqvarna, KTM | RWK-B-001

$30.00

Factory Links OEM Series® Rear Wheel Bearing Kits are engineered to handle the higher torque loads, sustained radial stress, and heat exposure experienced at the rear hub of off-road, enduro, dual-sport, and motocross motorcycles.

Exploded view of front wheel hub with bearing kit components

Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, each kit includes premium deep groove ball bearings and Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) double-lip oil seals—manufactured to strict dimensional tolerances to ensure proper axle alignment, drivetrain stability, and smooth rear wheel rotation under power.

Unlike generic aftermarket replacements, Factory Links rear wheel bearings are packed with a heavy-duty marine-grade grease and specialized thickener blend formulated to resist grease breakdown under high load, chain tension, and elevated operating temperatures.

Rear wheel bearings endure continuous drive torque from the chain and sprocket assembly—placing greater demand on load capacity and seal integrity than front wheel applications. Our bearings are engineered specifically to withstand these forces while maintaining smooth rotation and long service intervals.

Every kit includes all components required for a complete rear wheel hub rebuild—including bearings, oil seals, and model-specific spacers (where applicable)—to eliminate wheel play, restore drivetrain precision, and extend service life in mud, water, sand, and extreme off-road environments.

HEAVY-DUTY BALL BEARINGS

Factory Links OEM Series rear wheel bearings are manufactured to DINP6 – ABEC3 standards and developed specifically for high-load motorcycle rear hub applications.

  • Precision-ground races for smooth and consistent rotation under torque
  • Optimized internal clearances to accommodate sustained radial load
  • High-grade bearing steel for long-term durability
  • Designed to handle chain tension, acceleration forces, and sprocket-side stress

Rear wheel bearings operate under continuous drivetrain load—our internal tolerances are engineered accordingly to prevent premature wear and overheating.

OFF-ROAD SPECIFIC OIL SEALS

Each kit includes premium NBR double-lip oil seals designed to:

  • Prevent intrusion of water, mud, sand, and debris
  • Retain grease under sustained rotational load
  • Resist contamination from chain lubricant and road grime
  • Maintain sealing integrity under elevated temperatures

These seals are purpose-built for off-road motorcycles—not industrial substitutes.

MARINE-GRADE HIGH-LOAD GREASE FILL

Marine-grade grease fill used in Factory Links wheel bearings

All Factory Links OEM Series rear wheel bearings are pre-packed with a high-performance marine grease featuring:

  • Enhanced moisture resistance
  • Superior rust and corrosion protection
  • Improved shear stability under high torque
  • Extended lubrication intervals

This increased grease durability helps reduce premature failure caused by heat buildup, frequent washdowns, and harsh off-road riding conditions.

FAQs

Q: How do I know if my rear wheel bearings are worn?
A: Common signs include lateral wheel play at the axle, grinding noise under acceleration, rough rotation when spinning the wheel, excessive sprocket movement, or visible contamination during inspection.

Q: Does this kit include seals and spacers?
A: Yes. All OEM Series Rear Wheel Bearing Kits include bearings and oil seals required for complete service. Many applications also include model-specific spacers where required.

Q: Why are rear wheel bearings different from front bearings?
A: Rear wheel bearings must withstand continuous drive torque from the chain and sprocket assembly, higher sustained loads, and increased heat exposure—requiring optimized internal clearances and enhanced grease durability.

Q: Is this kit suitable for motocross, enduro, and dual-sport use?
A: Yes. These kits are designed specifically for high-load off-road applications where drivetrain stability, contamination resistance, and durability are critical.

Q: Do I need special tools for installation?
A: Proper installation typically requires a bearing driver or press tool to avoid damaging the hub or applying force through the rolling elements. Install bearings squarely, verify spacer alignment, and ensure correct seal orientation for optimal performance.
