Technical Details

TAPERED BEARINGS

Factory Links tapered roller bearings are manufactured with precisely matched cone angles between the inner race, outer race, and rollers. These geometries are designed so their geometric axes intersect at a single point on the bearing centerline.

This alignment allows the rollers to roll rather than slide, ensuring true rolling contact, reduced friction, and uniform load distribution. Maintaining this precise geometry is critical — even small deviations can cause sliding, heat buildup, and premature bearing wear.

BEARING RACES
